Disaster Relief Training at Taylors First Baptist Church, Saturday, April 22
(With an optional session on Friday evening)
This event provides training for those interested in meeting needs after a disaster. Classes are offered in the various ministry areas of disaster relief: assessment of needs, introduction to chaplaincy, children’s response teams, communications, feeding, fire response (ash-out), chainsaw, flood response (mud-out), rebuild, shower/laundry, administration. Additionally, an “Introduction to Disaster Relief” class is required of all new volunteers.
The day of training will include three class times, a general session, and lunch. The cost for new volunteers is $50 and this will certify you to serve with the SC Disaster Relief teams.

To register: click HERE. Online Registration must be done BEFORE Wednesday, April 19 at noon. However, walk up registration will be allowed at the event.
