Ladies Wednesday Night Bible Study

Steadfast Love – A study of Psalm 107 (Learn to Trust Jesus in Each Season of Life) There are times when worship overflows effortlessly from a heart full of gratitude and praise. And there are times when God seems far and we feel we have nothing to offer. We are tired, thirsty, and caught in the waves of a tumultuous sea. But this is when God shows us His steadfast love. Psalm 107 is a call to worship. It reminds…

LMCO – Even International Missionaries Give To Lottie Moon

In 2014, Rocky Creek sent a team to Senegal to host the Western Gateway Conference, a retreat for missionaries serving throughout West Africa.  Every missionary family that came to the conference came prepared with money they had set aside through the year for Lottie Moon.  Our team had brought dozens of gift baskets for children, adults, and families for a very special Lottie Moon Auction. The missionaries had a blast bidding on the different baskets and they all went home…

The Gift That Keeps On Giving…The Gift Of Sanctification

Every Christmas people spend a lot of time and frustration trying to find that “perfect” gift. Many find this experience to be a hard feat.  Can someone really find the “perfect” gift? A gift that will never wear out, not break, not fade, not rust, not need fixing, not tear up, not have to be returned, or re-gifted? Just thinking about finding that perfect gift can bring anxiousness. In keeping true to the reason for the season, we do have a…

Acts 3:1-10 and 4:5-31 for Gospel Groups December 10-16

Read the passages this week and think about these questions Acts 3:1-10; 4:5-31   How does Peter demonstrate boldness in Acts 3:1-10? What good deed have you recently done in Jesus’ name? Contrast the lame man before meeting Peter and John and after meeting them. How does Peter again demonstrate boldness in Acts 4:5-22? Where does boldness come from? Does Acts 4:20 describe you? Would threats tempt you to minimize what you say about Jesus and how you say it?…
