Bible Reading Plan for Week of March 18

Bible Reading Plan for Week of March 18

First Peter is written to Jewish believers struggling in the midst of persecution. Peter encourages them to pursue righteous living and holy conduct because of who Christ is and what He has done.  As you read this book this week think about who you are in Christ and how you should act.  Who we are should determine our behavior.  On Saturday and Sunday, we’ll focus on the Scriptures for our Gospel Groups and the Sunday sermon.  Please consider the questions below regarding the Scriptures for our Gospel Groups.

  • Sunday, March 18 – Colossians 1:1 – 4:18
  • Monday, March 19 – 1 Peter 1:1-25
  • Tuesday, March 20 – 1 Peter 2:1 – 3:7
  • Wednesday, March 21 – 1 Peter 3:8-22
  • Thursday, March 22 – 1 Peter 4:1-19
  • Friday, March 23 – 1 Peter 5:1-14
  • Saturday, March 24 – 1 Peter 2:1-17

How do you grow up into salvation?

Do you view your sin as detestable? Or “it’s not that bad?”

Do you see sin as a moment by moment battle or an occasional struggle?

How much time have you spent reading the Bible this past week?  Do you have a Bible Reading Plan?

What’s the most important part of a building?  What is a cornerstone?

What are the two responses to Jesus?

Contrast 1 Peter 2:8 and 2:9

Since we are God’s possession and chosen people who have received mercy, what should we do?

How have you proclaimed Christ this in the past week?

Because of our identity in Christ how should we live?

  • Sunday, March 18 – Colossians 1:1 – 4:18

We will make posts on our website and app on Sunday mornings that outline the Bible reading plan for the rest of the week.  Or you can view the entire Bible Reading Plan for November 28 to March 31 here.
