Scripture: 1 Peter 2:9
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
This week we will be looking at the Heart problem of man and the remedy that Christ provides. As you prepare for worship this week, ask God to show you where your heart is not tuned to Him.
Proverbs 4:20-21. My son, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Let them not escape from your sight; keep them within your heart.
Here is a link to the songs we will be singing this week.

Why I need to Worship
One of the greatest discoveries of my Christian pilgrimage has come with the realization that the primary importance in worship is not what I do but what God is doing. In worship, God is present, speaking to me, and acting upon me. It is in worship that God feeds, nourishes, and cares for me. And it is in worship that he gives me his grace, surrounds me with his love, lifts me up into his arms, affirms me as a member of his community, and sends me forth into the world with a fresh vision of his work and a new concern to live for him. -Robert Webber
