Bring A Turkey To Church Day – November 11

This Sunday, November 11, is our annual Bring A Turkey To Church Day, to support Miracle Hill Ministries.

Every year around Thanksgiving, Miracle Hill Ministries prepares and serves turkey to hundreds and hundreds of people.  Their goal is to collect and prepare 500 turkeys which they then serve to all 9 of their Upstate Shelters, to many of their Foster Families, as well as hosting a Community Dinner on Tuesday, November 20.  Over the past years, Rocky Creek has helped to supply frozen turkeys for this and we have an opportunity to do so again this year.

On Sunday, November 11, we are asking that your family bring a Frozen Turkey to church.  Miracle Hill will have a truck parked in front of the Gym to collect the turkeys.  This year however, we are also asking that you consider bringing a box of Gallon Sized Zip Lock Freezer Bags along with the Turkey.
