We have finished reading through the first five books of the Bible, and this week we start in Judges. Joshua has led the Israelites and they have settled into the Promised Land. However, Joshua dies and now “judges” (deliverers, saviors) are given to help God’s people against their enemies. There is a cycle of sin, subjugation, supplication, and salvation throughout the book of Judges. May we learn from this devastating cycle and break it in our own lives. On Saturday and Sunday, we’ll focus on the Scriptures for our Gospel Groups and the Sunday sermon. Please consider the questions below regarding the Scriptures for our Gospel Groups.
