During the month of May we’ll be in a series about membership on Sunday mornings. However, our reading plan will continue to take us through Psalms, 2 Samuel, and 1 Chronicles. Allow the Psalms to stir your emotions so you see God and praise Him. As you read about the history of the Israelites, learn lessons and important truths that you can apply today. On Saturday and Sunday, we’ll focus on the Scriptures for our Gospel Groups and the Sunday sermon. Please consider the questions below regarding the Scriptures for our Gospel Groups
- Sunday, May 5 – Acts 2:42-47
- Monday, May 6 – Psalms 12-13
- Tuesday, May 7 – Psalms 28, 55
- Wednesday, May 8 – 2 Samuel 16-18
- Thursday, May 9 – Psalms 26, 40, 58
- Friday, May 10 – Psalms 61-62, 64

How does Gideon view God and what does he think about himself?
Has God ever given you a task for which you thought you weren’t qualified?
What does Gideon do to test God?
What are some reasons we are tempted to “lay out a fleece” instead of take God at His Word?
How has God been patient with you and shown you grace?
Why does God want to whittle Gideon’s army down?
How does God shrink Gideon’s army?
How is God calling you to trust Him and take your next step of faith, perhaps even into an overwhelming situation?
- Sunday, May 12 – Acts 6:1-7
We will make posts on our website and app on Sunday mornings that outline the Bible reading plan for the rest of the week. Or you can view the entire Bible Reading Plan (March 2019 – May 2019)
