Rocky Creek is a church that is making disciples. There are several new churches in the Upstate who are also striving to make disciples. We are not in competition with one another but recognize we cannot reach the Greenville community alone. Would you join in praying for the work they are doing in their communities as together we join the Lord in making disciples in Greenville, South Carolina? And pray also for the Greenville Baptist Association as they work to assist these church plants.
Family Gate is a church plant in West Gantt that launched at the end of April 2019. They started off their first service with two baptisms. Pray for Pastor Chris Bates and the church as they navigate the challenges of Urban Ministry.
The Fold is pastored by Mitch Williams and launched the first Sunday of May 2019. They are located just down the road near Frankie’s Fun Park. Pray for The Fold as they continue to work after their first service.
Pray for Pastor Alfred Johnson and Church Without Walls as they continue to engage the Greenville community in different apartment complexes. Pray for this church as they encounter push-back from people of different faiths during their work.
Pray for Pastor Matt Wireman and Christ the Redeemer Church as they continue to grow and engage the community around them. Christ the Redeemer Church now has a permanent location to hold their weekly worship gatherings, but pray for them as they encounter permit issues to do work on the building.
Pray for Will Broadus and Reconcile Church as they build relationships in their community. The church is continuing to build a good reputation in the area. Pray also for financial blessings as they work on their church building.
Pastor Erwin Soto and Monaghan en Espanol continue to grow as they reach the Hispanic population in their community. Pray that the church can continue to build bridges in their community as they work to share the Gospel with nominal Catholics.
Join us in praying for these new churches in the area, and also for future church planters to come.
