Academy Closure Due to COVID-19

Academy Closure Due to COVID-19

Rocky Creek Academy Family:

Governor Henry McMaster announced that schools will be closed for the remainder of the year. It is with great regret that we will not return to school to finish the 2019-20 school year.

I want to thank all of you for being patient with us as we have navigated this difficult season. Teachers, you have stepped up to provide resources so that our children would not be hindered in the educational goals we had for them to accomplish. You have shown such love and commitment to our Rocky Creek Academy families.

Parents, you have stepped up to lead at home. It has been an encouragement to our teachers to hear your support of their efforts. Your voiced concerns for the teachers and their families touched our hearts.

A member of our staff will be contacting you to make sure we have answered your questions. Our RC Academy team worked hard to make sure that the added value and educational resources provided for the time lost in the classroom in March and April met or exceeded your family’s expectations for your child’s educational experience.

Our staff will communicate a creative way to celebrate your K4 student as soon as plans are finalized. While it might be different, we will still celebrate your child’s accomplishments. You can also look forward to some planned playdates in the summer with your Rocky Creek Academy friends. We will continue to do what we can to celebrate your child and maintain our Rocky Creek Academy friendships.

Thank you for your patience and your support,

Andrea Benson, Rocky Creek Academy Director
