On Sunday, July 26 (and throughout that week if your group meets on a different day), our Gospel Groups will be studying Luke 12:13-34. Below are some questions for you to think about as you read the passage in preparation for your group. Be in prayer and allow the Holy Spirit to teach you from this passage. Then be ready to share what God is teaching you with your group.
Why is money such an effective snare for our hearts?
How do Jesus’ words regarding money differ from the predominate message of our culture?
What does it look like to be “rich toward God” or, what does it look like to store up our treasure in Heaven as opposed to earth?
Anxiety is a significant issue in our lives today. What things tend to cause anxiety and why do we tend to struggle with it?
How does God’s provision in Christ affect our anxious hearts?
Our heart is the seat of our affections and out of it we speak and act. What does it look like to set our heart on Christ and store our treasure with Him in Heaven? How are we to seek God’s Kingdom?
Discuss some ways in which we can steward our possessions so that God is glorified and others are blessed.
