Dangerous Freedom

This article was on the back cover of the May issue of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association magazine, “Decision”.  It is from Ruth Graham Bell’s book “Legacy of a Pack Rat”.  A powerful testimony about American Christianity.   He had just emerged from existence under a regime that took a dim, even intolerant, view of Christianity.  But now, viewing Christians who lived not only in freedom but in relative comfort this man was appalled.  To him, these Christians seemed casual about their…

“Facing Darkness” Movie

About Facing Darkness As the Ebola pandemic was sweeping across West Africa in the spring of 2014, one organization was willing to step up and fully commit its people and resources to provide comfort, compassion, and care to the hurting people of Africa … all in the Name of Jesus. But when the deadly virus infected its own medical personnel, including Dr. Kent Brantly, the epic crisis truly hit home for Samaritan’s Purse and its leader Franklin Graham. FACING DARKNESS…

Pray for the Colemans

As we observe the week of prayer for Annie Armstrong and our North American Mission Board missionaries, we will have a family to pray over each day. Dan Coleman says he and his wife, Amanda, are “New Englanders who know New England.” As missionaries to their native culture, they intuitively created an outreach strategy contextualized to their community. From city officials to families with kids, members of Kennebec Community Church are constantly building relationships with the people around them. Running…

Pray for the Parrishes

As we observe the week of prayer for Annie Armstrong and our North American Mission Board missionaries, we will have a family to pray over each day. Pray for the Dahls

During Jacob Dahl’s senior year of college at Washington State University, Jesus came into his life and changed him forever. So when the opportunity to plant a church on a college campus arose, Jacob and his wife, Jessica, jumped at the chance. Pray for the Lenos

As we observe the week of prayer for Annie Armstrong and our North American Mission Board missionaries, we will have a family to pray over each day. He and Patty were content inviting people into their Windsor, Ontario home for a Saturday evening Bible study. However, God began to reveal He had other plans. The Bible study outgrew…
