It’s one of those times in life when we are faced with a decision, to follow “the crowd” or  stand on our own convictions. Our students face it all the time. Some do well with it while others struggle through.  Students, however, are not the only ones who face this. Ron Cooney says, “But peer pressure isn’t…

While divorce may seem like a desirable path for some couples, it is never a simple escape from trouble. Before going down this path, there are many things that must be considered. How Bad Is It? How committed are you in order to make things work? How committed is your spouse to that end? What are the 1-3 things that your spouse must address to improve your marriage? What are the 1-3 things that you must address to improve your…

Today, for the Rocky Creek Bible Reading Plan (Sept – Nov 2019) we will be reading the book of Zephaniah.  The author announces to Judah God’s approaching judgment.  “Zephaniah’s main theme is the coming of the day of the Lord, when God will severely punish the nations, including apostate. Judah.”  However, there is hope because God is merciful to His people. Here’s a video from the Bible Project that will help you understand the book of Zephaniah better.
