SHINE- Sharing the Light of the World

For the next six weeks on Wednesday nights (6:30pm-7:30pm), the students will be doing a study called, “Shine.” This is a study by Dare 2 Share ministries that will help equip us to better share our faith in Christ. State Missions Offering

Let’s Love On Our Local Law Enforcement Officers

David’s Table

The Fall Semester of David’s Table (a part of Young Life Capernaum) will start back on Monday, September 10.  We have a great opportunity to invest in the lives of some very special students and young adults by hosting a meal for one of their Monday services.  Last semester there were probably around 80-90 students and adults who attended the David’s Table (for high school students) and the E210 (for those who have graduated high school) programs on  Monday evenings.…

This Summer Our RC Family: Raised money in VBS for Bible Translation… Helped with construction efforts at the Piedmont Women’s Center Grove Road Center… Served in Brazil, with 2 different teams… Loved on a great group of Overcomers… Sent men to Perry Correctional Center to worship and learn to mentor inmates… Led VBS in MetroWest Boston… Shared Christ in Ecuador… Hosted a possible church planter from Mexico… Sponsored a church planter to attend Urban Church Planting training in Philadelphia… Prayed…

Training for Mentors at Perry Correctional Institute

On Sunday, June 24, a group of men from Rocky Creek was able to worship at Perry Correctional Institution and tour the facility in order to discover how we can minister to the inmates at Perry Correctional.  Men at Rocky Creek have the opportunity to encourage the inmates at Perry Correctional to pursue Jesus and seek to obey Him. As we study through the Gospel of Mark together as a church, my personal life has been deeply impacted.  I have grown so much by studying the message and ministry of Jesus that I can’t imagine not having the ability to read this book. 3 million Hunsrik people of Brazil do not have the Gospel of Mark in their language.  We need to do something about it. Music Of Nations

Glasses for Ecuador Mission Trip

In July 2018 Rocky Creek will send a team to Ecuador to work with Iglesia Bautista Nueva Vida.  We are praying that people see Jesus for who He really is and desire to follow Him as disciples.  We are collecting reading glasses through June 17, 2018 in order to distribute to people in Ecuador.  Please place glasses with strength 1.25 to 2.00 in the box outside the chapel.  Monetary donations for this trip are being collected as well.  Any contributions…
