The Difference a Study Bible Can Make in Prison

A few months ago, our staff received a letter from prison from an individual with a simple request: he wanted a study Bible.  Since I had been given some extras from someone, we put it in the mail and honestly forgot about it. Weeks later, I received a letter that floored me.  His gratitude was overwhelming, but his perspective was convicting. When was the last time you were this grateful for having a copy of God’s Word? The Letter August…

The Church’s Front Door

After working for a few days in Senegal, I asked our translator if he wanted to go to his church on Sunday.  The villages we were working in had no local church (yet), and I wanted our translator to have the opportunity to see his physical and spiritual family, while at the same time, I wanted our team to be a part of a church body in that country. Joyful Ornaments 2017

The Janet Danner Joyful Ornament Fund was founded on the vision and many talents of local women, seeking the will of God. Through His gifts, we have been able to bless other women that are battling cancer with the proceeds of our hand painted Christmas ornaments. It is our desire to serve these women by assisting with their medical expenses and other daily life needs. Joyful Ornaments 2017 from SAILWIND on Vimeo. Don’t miss our “Accelerating Hope Car Show” that benefits this ministry.

I am also thankful that the truths of the Bible are incorporated into the classroom experience on a daily basis. The teachers are so creative and invested in their…
