Good Friday is a time we reflect on the Cross of Christ and the atonement that was made by Christ Jesus for our sins. Join us as we step back and remember to reflect on this great sacrifice.
We will have an English and Spanish service at 7:00 PM on Good Friday.
We will have time during the service to observe communion. Scripture teaches not to take communion in an unworthy manner (1 Cor. 11:23-26). This act is reserved for people are believers and should not be done by an unbeliever. If your family is mixed with Christians, non-Christians, and not-yet-Christians, you should consider what is the best way to engage in this element or abstain from it.
During the service, we will give you time to read Matthew 26:17-29 as a family. You will then pass out bread and the cup to all partaking. We will then take it together online.
If your family desires not to observe it in your “home church,” then just take time to read the passage and remember what Christ has done, take some time to pray, and wait for the remainder of the service.
To prepare, you just need to gather some bread and some drink to observe communion together.
